FREE Background - March
This spring David and I have gone through some really difficult situations, and have felt the tension of trusting God. We have faith that He will work all things for good, but we recognize that there is still pain in the waiting. In this season, I’ve been listening to Amanda Cook’s “With Us While We Wait” song and leaning in to God’s word as I am trusting He sees something I don’t.
I pray that wherever you are, whatever season you are in, you can wait on the Lord. The NET version actually uses the terminology of “relying” on the Lord.
The reality is that on this side of eternity, free will comes with pain. We get to choose to love God, but that choice and freedom comes with the reality that as broken humans we have a broken world. I hope that you can hold on to God in those stormy moments and wait on Him.
