Free Backgrounds
Happy October everyone!
If you know me, you know we are in my favorite season (Fall!) so I am just bubbling and busy with all things autumn. Even though there is a lot going on, I wanted to jump on quick and just share some phone backgrounds!
I recently watched The Social Dilemma, and if you haven’t seen it-I SO recommend it. I am pretty passionate about the impacts of social media, and I also studied some computer science subjects, so I have to admit that I was aware of a lot of the content. However, the documentary style film was such a fresh and important discussion of how these platforms are impacting our lives. As a female, I so resonated and felt the pain of the statistics and narratives of the girl. As I have worked with students I have also seen how these platforms are affecting them. I love to use phone backgrounds as a reminder that as we constantly pick up our phones to pacify our anxiety, fear, or even boredom- there is a higher calling.
I couldn’t fit the whole verse (and make it look really nice) , but I hope you can take time to read the passages these little snippets are from. It is a good word. Even when we can feel overwhelmed, we don’t need to be anxious. Instead go to the loving Father and share your worries and fears with Him. He is big enough to handle it!
