2023 Pantone Color of the Year

One of my annual posts is the Color of the Year! This year’s Pantone color is called “Viva Magenta”.

I’ll be honest, I don’t think Pantone and I have been getting along these past couple of years. The last few “colors of the year” have included a bright yellow, a purple, and now a pretty bright pink!

I’ve never really been a “pink girl”. Whenever I played with our Mary-Kate and Ashley dolls, I chose to be Mary-Kate because she liked blue - and she was cool and edgy. (I know, I’m eye rolling at myself too).

All that to say, this year we have a deep magenta as our color of the year. As I’m rewriting expectations of myself this year, I thought it would be fun to stretch myself to incorporate more of this color. It is bright, fresh, and exciting. I’m not sure if you love this color, but I encourage you to try to pop some of it into your life!
