DIY Wood Stars (Less than $3 and super easy! )

For some reason this year I wanted to have a more “Scandinavian” Christmas! These fun little wood stars cost less than $3 and are super easy to create! Snag some popsicle sticks, twine, and glue at the dollar store and get crafting!

This craft is incredibly simple! Decide on a star pattern (like the one pictured) and then glue the popsicle sticks together.

Instructions

  • Lay out the design before gluing.

  • Glue the center star, for the simple star I started with 3 popsicle sticks.

    • Make sure these are nice and evenly spaced, because if not it will mess up the rest of the star.

  • Then glue on the outside popsicle to make the final star shape.

  • Tie some twine to the star and then attach to whatever surface you are hanging it from.

  • You’re done!
